Robertsdale, AL - The Hub City

Located 10 miles south of I-10 on Highway 59, "The Hub City of Baldwin County" takes pride in family and community life. Robertsdale was founded founded in 1905 by the Southern Plantation Corporation of Chicago, IL and named after one of its officials, Dr. R.F. Roberts.

Local taxes are generated from the downtown retail district and the city's industrial park recently added 60+ acres in Phase II for light industrial growth. Since the 1940s, the Robertsdale Livestock Auction still holds auctions every Monday and is one of the few auctions remaining in the Southeastern United States.

Garrett Park, located on 40 acres, is the focal point for most recreational activities. Facilities include a pavilion, ball fields, swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, picnic area, and playground for children. Spring festivities include Home, Garden, and Recreation Expo: Fall supports the Baldwin County Fair and the Annual Honeybee Festival.
